Our book of the month, Game Day, was written by two NFL superstars. Tiki and Ronde Barber are twin brothers from Virginia. Game Day tells the story of the two young boys as they played for their Pee Wee League team, the Vikings. They are supportive brothers and teammates, but Ronde feels as though his brother gets all of the glory. Together, the boys learn that it takes more than one person in order to achieve success. Ronde and Tiki draw from their real-life experiences to create a wonderful, inspiring story! Our classmates are learning the importance of teamwork. It takes teamwork to be a success!! Take a look at the young brothers when they played on the Vikings. Tiki is #21, Ronde is #22. Then look to see them as grown adults. They are a wonderful example of how important it is to work hard and follow your dreams!!
