Are you ready for a great school year? Only one more week of your summer vacation! Time sure has gone by quickly, huh? I enjoyed every bit of my break. I went on several trips and spent a lot of time playing with my dogs Miller and Lucy. I had a wonderful summer but am looking forward to starting school. This past week I was busy getting the room ready for the start of the school year. I think I am just about finished!
Don't forget that all teachers will be available to meet you on Friday, August 21. Come in anytime between 10:00 and 11:30 and meet your teacher. We look forward to seeing your smiling faces. Rest up and get ready to begin on August 24. It will be a busy, fun-filled couple of weeks as we get back into the swing of things.
This year, our school has a sports theme that we will be following. I think it is an awesome theme, seeing as we will all be important team players in Room 5. I hope you come ready to work together to make this year an awesome one!!
